The challenge
Metacerius's engineers worked across several codebases and two AI coding tools, each set up its own way. They wanted AI to make the team faster without filling the product with code nobody could maintain.
What we did
- Ran the team through the Viable Coding bootcamp.
- Installed the Viable Coding setup in three of their codebases.
- Put their engineers on one set of guardrails and instructions across both Cursor and Claude Code.
The result
Their engineers now work from the Viable Coding guardrails and instructions in both tools, which improved how they prompt and gave the team a starting point to build on with AI.
Their own team reviewed and merged the first install into their main line of development.
