Code repair For an app built with AI

From vibe-coded to production quality.

Your app was built with AI. It got you to a prototype. Now it breaks, or nobody can say whether the rest of it is sound. We fix what's broken and bring the whole app up to production quality.

Where you are
A vibe-coded app, built by a tool or by prompting
Where it goes
Production quality: it works, it keeps working, and someone can vouch for it
First step
An assessment of the code
After
Viable Teams or Viable Coding

Where you are

Everyone is building with AI now. You describe the app, a tool writes the code, and you have something that works. Vibe coding gets you to a prototype, fast. Then one of these happens:

  • It worked until it didn't, and the tool that built it can't get it back.
  • You can't tell whether it's secure.
  • You need it in front of customers and it isn't ready.
  • Your developers inherited it, and their time goes to reworking what was generated.

Where we take it

Production quality is the rest of the job: the architecture holds, the app is secure, the code is correct, tests cover it, it stands up to real use, and it is ready to run in front of customers. AI does the heavy lifting, and experienced engineers stay accountable for every one of those.

Anyone can vibe code; our process is built for production standards, which vibe coding does not meet. We built it to run our own products before selling it to anyone, and we still run on it. See the work.

How we get there

  • We start with an assessment. We look at how the app was built and how it's set up around AI development: the generation process, testing, verification, and guardrails. You get a written read on where the biggest risks are and what we would fix first.
  • We fix what's broken, in the order that hurts you most, to the standard we hold our own products to.
  • We put in the tests and the mechanical checks (linting, type checks) that stop it breaking again.
  • The app ends up on the same AI development setup we run our own products on, so it can keep being built with AI at production quality.

What we need: read access to the code, and an hour with whoever built it.

Who keeps building

Once the app is at production quality, you choose who builds from there. Viable Teams: a full-time developer hired and managed by us, with technical direction included. Viable Coding: your own developers, trained on the setup the repair left in place. Either way, the app stays on one system.
